The Hard Truth : You/We are paying for the privilege of being controlled - Facebook, Tik Tok Social Media War on humanity

The world we live in today is one of dualities: on one hand, we have unprecedented access to information, connection, and innovation through technology; on the other, we’re caught in a web of manipulation, exploitation, and disconnection. Our data—the very essence of who we are—is being harvested, tracked, and sold for profit by tech giants who view us not as individuals, but as products. This is the world we’ve allowed to happen, but it doesn’t have to stay this way.

The truth is that every moment you spend on platforms like Facebook, TikTok, or Instagram is a moment that is being monetized—by your data. Every swipe, click, and interaction is being recorded, analyzed, and used to predict and influence your behavior. These companies have created systems that push us deeper into a cycle of engagement, all while they gather insights about our preferences, desires, and even our deepest fears. But what is often overlooked in this game is that they are not just tracking your likes or comments—they’re tracking your movements, your conversations, and your very actions in the world.

Think about it: your phone knows where you are, what you’re doing, who you’re with, and even when you are at your most vulnerable. The apps you use collect data across every part of your life, not just on their own platforms, but everywhere. When you speak near your phone, you might see ads related to those very words, or worse, those private moments are being analyzed for market trends. This isn’t science fiction—this is happening right now.

And what is the end result? You’re paying for the privilege of being controlled. We pay for our phones, our service plans, our cable TV, and our internet, but instead of being the ones in control of our digital environments, we’re giving away our sovereignty. The content we consume isn’t for our benefit—it’s designed to hook us, keep us engaged, and ultimately sell us something. We’re being tracked, manipulated, and isolated all while being told we’re “connecting” with others.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. I’ve come to realize that the very technology that is being used against us can also be repurposed to serve us. This realization birthed the vision of Trinity, a platform that empowers people—not just to connect, but to do so in a conscious, intentional way that protects their privacy, values their sovereignty, and uses data for good, not for manipulation.

Unlike traditional social platforms, we’re not creating algorithms that track every move you make, listen to every conversation, or analyze every gesture to manipulate you into purchasing something or staying hooked. Instead, we’ve designed a platform that allows YOU to control your data, your connections, and your experience. We allow you to choose what data you share and with whom. If you want to connect with people who meditate or share similar spiritual practices, you can filter that information, and only those who align with your mission and values will populate your feed. You’re not being sold to—you’re being given the freedom to choose.

What’s happening now in the world, particularly with companies like Meta, is a breach of trust. They’ve created systems designed to keep us hooked, using our personal information to feed us content that makes us feel lonely, disconnected, and ultimately, helpless. They want you to stay engaged, to keep scrolling, to keep feeding the system so they can continue to profit. But the truth is that they’re not only feeding the algorithm—they’re feeding a dragon, one that will continue to grow stronger as long as we feed it.

And let’s talk about the power of the machine, the AI. There’s a common fear around AI taking over, but what we need to realize is that the AI you fear isn’t an autonomous force—it’s been built by people. People who want to control you, to sell to you, to make a profit off your attention. If you fear AI, perhaps it’s time to question where that fear is coming from. Is it really the machine that’s the issue, or the people who control it? The real threat isn’t a machine that can think on its own—it’s the people who program it to serve their interests. They’ve figured out how to keep you trapped in a cycle of dependency, feeding them your attention, your money, your energy, all while you think you’re connecting.

What you’ve given them—your data—isn’t just being used against you in the form of advertisements. It’s being used to manipulate your behavior, to isolate you from true connection, and to keep you dependent on the very platforms that are slowly eroding your sense of self-worth and autonomy. And for what? So a small group of CEOs and billionaires can keep raking in profits, expanding their power, and controlling the narrative of your life. They want to keep you hooked on their platforms, using your own data to create a disconnection that feels normal.

But that’s the world we are fighting against.

What I am creating with Trinity is an alternative. I envision a world where we are no longer the product but the creators. A world where your data is used for your benefit, not to manipulate you. Where you can connect with others who are on the same mission, driven by the same values, and aligned with your goals. We’re building a tribe—a collective of people who are awake, aware, and empowered. This is a world where privacy is respected, where you choose how your data is used, and where the information you share helps you build meaningful connections instead of isolating you. We’re returning the power back to you.

As we see it, it’s not just about avoiding manipulation—it’s about creating a conscious, empowered way to connect. It’s about trusting people, not algorithms. It’s about being intentional with how we use technology, and most importantly, it’s about choosing to use our data to build a world that is grounded in values that uplift, rather than break down.

So, I challenge you: Take a step back. Reflect on how you’ve been participating in the system that’s designed to profit from your disconnection. Ask yourself if this is the world you want to continue living in, one where your every move is tracked, analyzed, and used against you. Or do you want to take back control? Do you want to be part of something bigger, something that empowers you, that values you as a soul, not a statistic?

We are standing at a pivotal moment in history. This is a time when we can make a choice. We can either continue feeding the dragon and allow it to grow stronger, or we can build a new world—a world where your data, your energy, and your attention are used to create meaningful connections, collaborations, and movements. And Trinity is the space where this transformation begins.

You have the power to decide. Will you stay hooked in a cycle of manipulation, or will you break free and choose the path of conscious, empowered connection? The choice is yours. And together, we can build a world that respects our privacy, honors our sovereignty, and creates authentic relationships that transcend the empty, algorithm-driven connections of today. The time is now to take back control.
